Magic Words
The other morning Oliver was on his way out the backdoor when he turned to his brother and said, "Reid come out and ride bikes with me," and when it took Reid more than 1/2 second to reply, Ollie continued with..."just say- yes sir, or no thank you."
p.s. the above picture of Oliver is neither current nor applicable, but it is cute, and that's really all that matters.

Motorcycle and Gun Fun
We spent last Saturday in Mesquite with Aunt Toni, Aunt Karen, Uncle Craig, and Cousin Brady. We spent the morning at the Oasis Gun Club and Reid told us he knew how to put his ear plugs in, so we just gave them to him and this was the what he ended up with.
We then went and watched some desert racing. They let us sit right on the side of the track which is a ten for the fun factor but not sure it ranks so high on the safety factor. As you can see, the children are very into the racing.
Sorry this has nothing funny or clever in it. Jodi made me post because she thinks is somehow good for me. Once she sees this I'm sure it will be my last posting so Jodi's posts will be back shortly.

Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Snow Cones
Here we have Reid, our All-American Boy, receiving goalie instruction from coach (Dad). Speaking of America, Ben had an interesting conversation with Reid that I found particularly poignant...
Reid: (out of the blue) What's so great about America anyway?
Ben: You tell me what you think is great about America.
Reid: Well, we have lots of Leprechauns
Ben: Actually there are no Leprechauns in America
Reid: Well, at least we get to ride around on camels
Ben: Also, not America---Reid, we live in America
Reid: Oh, now I know what's so great about America...snow cones!

Red Dirt Girl in a Red Dirt World
Aunt Vic was good enough to grace the southwest corner of Utah with her presence, and we did not regret it.
Just look and the fun that can be had with an adventurous Aunt.
She's quite the catch, boys.
Boo
Happy Halloween!
Above you'll see Roge, sporting some pumpkin pj's topped off with a spider themed hat. While Reid and Ollie decided to go with more of a "shiver me timbers" type of look.
